Born in Lima, Peru on April 7, 1977, Silvana Arias is the daughter of classic theater actor and singer Nelson Arias and social worker Sonia Arias. She graduated in a fashion design college in Peru and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English. She has a passion for fashion and design, and aspires to launch her own clothing line one day. In 2004, Arias moved from Los Angeles to Miami after she was cast as Paloma Lopez-Fitzgerald in the soap opera Passions.
Paloma Lopez-Fitzgerald is played by Silvana Arias in the soap opera, Passions. Paloma is the youngest child of Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald and Martin Fitzgerald, who later eloped with Katherine Barrett.
